When Did I Become My Mother?'
An evening of comedy benefit at Orange Hall MIDDLETOWN The benefit show “When Did I Become My Mother?” will provide an evening of comedy at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the Orange Hall Theater at Orange County Community College at 115 South Street in Middletown. Have you ever said, or even heard, the response, “because I said so”? Flo Hannes will be the performer in this sequel to “Conversations with a Jewish Mother,” which she also wrote. The comedienne is also the chair of the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at SUNY Orange. Tickets are $18, and are tax-deductible donations. Proceeds from the show will benefit: Habitat for Humanity, rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina; The Wounded Warriors Project, which assists men and women of the United States Armed Forces who have been severely injured in current military conflicts abroad; the Julie Marzano-Loderhose Scholarship Fund; and the SUNY Orange COTA, the Occupational Therapy Assistant Students Club’s Changing Outlooks Through Activities.
