Cornwall-on-Hudson — Patti Wood, executive director of Grassroots Environmental Education, will discuss important information about environmental toxins and their impact on human health and the environment on Thursday, March 1, as part of the Museum of Hudson Highlands speakers series. Wood will appear at Painter’s Tavern, Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, at 7:30 p.m. An author, filmmaker, educator and activist, Wood will also present a clip from her recent documentary. She also will discuss simple measures to create healthier homes and gain an understanding of the health risks associated with common preventable environmental exposures.
