Wassail celebration to be held this weekend at Apple Dave's Distillery

WARWICK — Wassail is a Saxon word that means "health be to you," and this weekend a Wassailing Party, a time-honored gathering, will take place at Apple Dave's Distillery, located at 82 Four Corners Road in Warwick.
It's billed as a celebration of our trees with craft beers from the Glenmere Brewing Company and Pine Island Brewing Company, hot toddies, winter cocktails and live music performed by Barry Wiesenfeld and John Foley of the group Flipside.
The country bar in Apple Dave's Red Barn provides a cozy venue for music, antiques, cold brews and hot beverages along with a roaring fire pit with Adirondack chairs overlooking a farm vista of rolling fields, a serene pond and magnificent mountain scenery.
Apple Dave's Distillery is open year round on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until 5 p.m.
