Warwick Valley Chorale hosts first spring concert on May 18

    WARWICK - The Warwick Valley Chorale will host spring concerts on May 18 in Greenwood Lake and on May 20 in Warwick, featuring a program that will include works by Johannes Brahms and Gabriel Faure. The first concert is scheduled for Friday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Good Shepard Episcopal Church, 62 Windermere Ave., Greenwood Lake. The second is scheduled for Sunday, May 20, at 7 p.m. at the Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave. Under the direction of Stanley Curtis and with the accompaniment of Gail Johnson, the chorale will perform Brahms’s “How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Place” and “Schicksalslied” (The Song of Fate) and Faure’s “Requiem.” For more information about the chorale, concerts, or membership, contact Zoey Savale at 845-986-1392.
