Warwick United Methodist Church to host Kirk Martin relationships workshop
WARWICK Kirk Martin, behavioral consultant and founder of Celebrate Calm, an educational organization that provides science-based training for educators, parents and children, will return to Warwick United Methodist Church on Forester Avenue on Wednesday, March 7, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Martin, who has been featured in USA Today as well as Parenting and Parade magazines, presented a parenting workshop at the church last November and the event received an overwhelmingly positive response.
This time, Martin will present Calm the Chaos: Rescue Your Relationships, a workshop with new material, that will address the strain of modern life on all our relationships.
Martin has trained more than 200,000 parents, teachers, students and community groups.
During the upcoming workshop, he will provide participants with practical ways to control their priorities and overcome obstacles to having the quality connection they want with their spouse and/or children.
The workshop is appropriate for married and single parents of all ages, as well as grandparents, foster parents, teachers, pastors, and other professionals.
