WARWICK - The Warwick Valley Winery, Distillery and Orchards will present the duo of Sarah DeLeo and Marcelo Cardozo for an afternoon of jazz on Saturday, May 22, from 2 to 5 p.m.

| 28 Sep 2011 | 02:13

DeLeo will perform a program of standards from composers Duke Ellington and Cole Porter among others, in addition to new works from songwriters such as Erin McKeown. Influenced by performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, and Judy Garland, DeLeo puts a fresh spin on jazz and pop standards and interprets contemporary songs with her own style. She has also appeared at the New York City venues Chez Suzette, Caffe Taci, and Blue Water Grill. This will be her first performance at the Warwick Valley Winery. This concert is part of the Uncorked and Unplugged Music Series, a free series that showcases local performers every Saturday and Sunday afternoon throughout the year. The winery is located at 114 Little York Road. For more information including directions, contact the winery at wvwinery.com or at 845-258-4858.
