Summer Art Exhibit at the Albert Wisner Public Library

Stop by Albert Wisner Public Library and enjoy the whimsical artwork of Glenn John Arnowitz, on display in the Lower Gallery through the end of August.

Arnowitz’s artistic journey began with his first John Gnagy art kit, a subscription to Mad magazine and seeing the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show and continued along a twisted path through music, design, theatre and writing.

He is an award-winning creative director and designer specializing in environmental branding as well as a contributor to design publications and presenter at design conferences.

Arnowitz spent years painting dogs for family and friends and recently opened an Etsy shop. His paintings are colorful, loose, up-close personal portraits that capture the spirit and personality of each dog.
