Warwick Rotarians hosts spring golf outing

The Warwick Valley Rotary Club will kick off the local spring golf tournament season when it hosts its 15th annual golf outing on Monday, April 21, at Hickory Hill Golf Course in Warwick. The funds raised will be used by the Warwick service club to sponsor local community projects and organizations, including the senior citizens center, Hospice, Winslow Therapeutic, Warwick Valley Community Center, Garden of the Child, SADD, Literacy Volunteers, Warwick Ecumenical Council Warwick and Florida Food Pantries, W.V.H.S. Mediation, Interact Club, Inspire-Cerebral Palsy Center as well as college scholarships and youth sports. Registration for the golf tournament is now underway. The entry fee is $95 per golfer, which includes dinner. For non-golfers, a dinner only fee of $35 per person is also available with a cash bar. And once again Leo Kaytes Ford will sponsor a hole-in-one contest with a new Ford Focus going to anyone acing the designated hole. Clockwise: Ed Lynch, Stan Martin, Maggi Verhagen, Bob Baier, Leo R.
