Warwick resident wins 2011 Outer Banks photo contest

NAGS HEAD, N.C. — Mary Ellen Warbrick of Warwick was named a winner in the 2011 Outer Banks Photo Contest sponsored by Outer Banks-based Village Realty in North Carolina. Warbrick’s photo won the top prize in the “Wind and Waves” category. The photo depicts her three-year-old grandson, Brendan, facing the ocean, waiting for an Outer Banks wave. “This little boy says it all with his confident pose as he waits for that wave,” said a Village Realty judge.
