Warwick resident to star in 'Fun Home' at the White Plains Performing Arts Center Oct. 12-28

WHITE PLAINS — “Come to the Fun Home!” echoes from the rehearsal room where Warwick resident Wyatt Cirbus is busy preparing to play the role of Christian Bechdel (protagonist Alison’s older brother) in the White Plains Performing Arts Center’s production of Fun Home, running Oct. 12 to 28.
At ten years old, Cirbus is not a novice when it comes to theater having already starred in the national touring production of Finding Neverland.
Winner of five Tony Awards including Best Musical, "Fun Home" centers around graphic novelist Alison Bechdel. When her father dies unexpectedly, Alison dives into her past to tell the story of the volatile, brilliant, one-of-a-kind man whose temperament and secrets defined her family and her life.
Joining Cirbus are four Broadway veterans: Tony nominee Robert Cuccioli, Lauren Cohn, Elliot Fishman and Rita Harvey. The cast also features the talents of Catherine Ashmore Bradley Jessica Mosher, Megan O’Callaghan, Serena Parrish and Ian Smith.
Fun Home is directed by Amy Griffin with Musical Direction by Stephen Ferri and Choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare.
