Warwick Middle School team places 4th in New York State History Day competition

WARWICK-A short, documentary film, "Finding the Final Frontier: A Race to the Moon," created by a team of eighth grade students, won fourth place in the Junior Group Documentary category in the New York State History Day Competition, held in Cooperstown, N.Y. The eight-minute film, about the space race during the Cold War, was researched, written, and produced by Will Hutchison, Tom Groneman, Chase Laster, and Tony Giannone in Middle School teacher Tom Rauschenbach's honors social studies class. The film was also included on the Kids Page/Student Center of Congresswoman Sue Kelly's website, which was hosted in May by the students of the Middle School Zeta 8 team.
