Warwick. Holiday events in full swing at St. Stephen’s Church

St. Stephen the First Martyr Church in Warwick will hold its second annual Christmas Market and Craft Fair, a Nativity Tour, and the annual Trucks & Trees event on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4 and 5.

All events will take place at the former St. Stephen-St. Edward School, 228 West St., across from Warwick Valley Middle School.

Christmas Market and Craft Fair

At the Christmas Market, shoppers will find a variety of gently used or new Christmas décor and accessories including Nativities, Christmas villages, trees, ornaments, dinnerware, etc. Additionally, there will be new items available for sale for gifting ideas.

The Music Ministry will be holding its annual holiday bake sale with all sorts of tasty treats and there will be a large tricky tray with baskets donated by parishioners.

New this year, St. Stephen’s will also be hosting a craft fair with several local vendors selling their wares.

The Christmas Market and Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will return for its final day on Saturday, Dec. 11, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nativity Tour

The community is also invited to attend a “Nativity Tour” hosted by the St. Stephen’s Families of Faith Formation (Religious Education). Parishioners have loaned their family Nativities, many from countries around the world, as well as children’s Nativities. All will be on display to be viewed, free of charge, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.

Trucks and Trees

Finally, the annual Warwick Food Truck Festival will be holding its annual Trucks and Trees event in the former school parking lot, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5. Trees and wreaths will be available for purchase in addition to food truck fare including desserts and craft beverages.
