Warwick Cultural Center to host dance events

WARWICK — The Jubilee Multi-Cultural Arts and Dance Center in Warwick will host the following upcoming events as part of its “Cultural Diversity” activities: • Friday, Feb. 15: Belly dancing ladies night at 7 p.m. • Saturday, Feb. 16: Yoga and meditative chant open house at 9:30 a.m. and a ballet/flamenco open house for ages six and older at 12 noon. • Monday, Feb. 18 Tango workshops at 7:30 p.m. Learn to tango with Nelson Avila, an Argentine teacher. •Wednesday, Feb. 20: American ballroom and swing night with Wil Cajigas at 8:15 p.m. • Saturday, Feb. 23: Argentine tango dance social at 7 p.m. • Tuesday, Feb. 26: Teen hip-hop social night at 7 p.m. • Friday, Feb. 29: The dance and art of Sankofa and African drums at 7 p.m. For additional information or reservations, call 987-4207, e-mail: judy@jubileepresents.com or visit: www.jublieepresents.com.
