Warwick chamber expects 80 exhibitors for its first Expo on May 3
Warwick -The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will host its first Expo on Saturday, May 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Warwick Valley Middle School. The event is open to the public for $1 per person, with children admitted for free. In addition to the nearly 80 exhibitors, educational breakout sessions will be conducted for the public. Keynote speaker is Certified Professional Organizer Lisa Montanero, who will discuss “Organizing Your Home and Life.” Other presentations include “Planning for Retirement,” by Scott Lask, The Scott Last Wealth Management Group; “Buying or Selling in a Changing Market,” by RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group, All Hands Home Inspection and EverBank; “Telecommuting - Challenges/Opportunities,” by WVT Communications; and “Insurance for Home Based/Small Businesses/Legal Ramifications/Zoning--Are you Adequately Covered? In Compliance?” by Seely and Durland Insurance, Bonacic, Krahulik, and Associates and Zen Wojcik, Tectonic Engineering/town engineer. In addition, there will be a job opportunities bulletin board where exhibitors will post vacant jobs at their respect places of business. Refreshments, raffles and prizes round out the day along with WTBQ broadcasting live.
