Warwick B&B hosts acoustic concert series, beginning Saturday
Warwick Warwick’s Peach Grove Inn, originally constructed in 1850, is hosting a series of acoustic concerts beginning Saturday night, Feb. 24, from 6 to 9 p.m., according to innkeeper John Mastropierro. The evening’s program includes a wine and cheese tasting from the award-winning Demarest Hill Winery and Bobolink Dairy and Bakery. “We are excited to launch this new program that spotlights all-American songwriter, Rob Cannillo,” said Mastropierro. “His music is true Americana, mixing folk and blues,” he added. Rob has performed at some venues including, The Turning Point, Bodles Opera house, and The Stephen Talk House. In the summer of 2002 Rob toured 3600 miles throughout the country to raise money and awareness for cancer. One of the highlights was performing for 2,000 people at the famous Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville. The inn is a good setting for an unplugged concert. Its intimate setting features high ceilings, stately columns, a large double parlor, a massive center hall, original marbleized walls, and polished wide plank floors. One of the most well-appointed lodgings in the lower Hudson Valley, the inn features antiques, spacious private rooms and baths, jacuzzis, and wood-burning fireplaces. Tickets are $12 per person (free for inn guests). Reservations are required for this limited seating engagement. Call 845-986-7411 or visit www.peachGroveInn.net for more information.
