— Warwick author, blogger and public speaker Susanne Meyer-Fitzsimmons won several awards for her first book, "Deep Living: Healing Yourself To Heal The Planet."
The book, which was published at the beginning of this year, offers a hopeful vision for a more sustainable, more meaningful, good-for-all, not just a good-for-some culture, in these tumultuous times.
"Deep Living" won in two categories in the sixth annual Beverly Hills Book Awards: Green Living and New Non-Fiction. The book also received an honorable mention in Writer's Digest's 2017 Self-Published Book Awards' Inspirational category.
The author's second book, "Wisdom From The Deep Living Blog," a companion book to "Deep Living" and a selection of the best blog posts from almost six years of blogging on living holistically, just came out.
Meyer-Fitzsimmons will be signing copies of both books at Ye Olde Warwick Book Shoppe on Saturday, Dec. 16, from 1 to 4 p.m.
She also will be giving her signature talk - on why these challenging times are also incredibly creative, and what the seeming chaos we are experiencing is all about - at Penning's Farm Market on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m., under the umbrella of Amy Lewis Sweetman's Agrisculpture community lecture series, "Do You Love What You Do?"
