WARWICK — The Warwick Atelier (Art School) will hold its ninth annual exhibit at Albert Wisner Library from Oct. 2 through Oct. 30.
The public is invited to a "Meet the Artists" reception on Friday, Oct. 20, from 5 to 6:45 p.m.
For the past two years artists attending the Warwick Atelier have been exploring the new genre of "Experimental Watercolor" in addition to the more traditional trajectory the school has always embraced.
This exhibit will have a combination of the traditional and experimental work displayed.
The artists have met the new artistic challenge that the watercolor media has presented as their work clearly illustrates the exciting, new creative paths they have taken.
The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours.
The Warwick Atelier is a studio art school located in Warwick under the direction of Susan Hope Fogel. Workshops in experimental watercolor, plein air painting and floral/still life painting are held throughout the year.
Fogel also teaches traditional pastel/oil painting at Ridgewood Art Institute in Ridgewood, N.J.
