Warwick artist to exhibit in London

WARWICK — A painting by longtime Warwick resident Patricia Foxx will be included in the 2012 Fine Arts Exhibition to be presented by the People’s Republic of China at the London Museum from Aug. 1 to 7.

The exhibit, which takes place during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London from July 27 through Aug. 12, will consist of works created by artists from different countries related to the them: “The Thames River & The Great Wall: Embrace the World.”

In addition her work as an artist, Foxx also is an educator and real estate agent

Foxx’s painting that will be shown in London is an oil on linen entitled “Misty Connection.” It is 42-inches square.

Foxx has been invited to attend various events in London; she will receive a “golden badge of honor” and her work will be included in the Catalogue of Olympic Fine Arts 2012.
