WARWICK — Do you love books like Harry Potter, "The Catcher in the Rye" or "To Kill a Mockingbird?"
Last year, the Albert Wisner Public Library requested that the Warwick Actor Training School collaborate with them to produce a dramatic presentation of this year's theme, Banned Books.
On Saturday, Nov. 10, at 2:30, the public is invited to come and enjoy the portrayals of your favorite characters in scenes developed by the teen and adult actors of the school.
"We quickly discovered what a treasure trove of theater and song this was," said Warwick Actor Training School Director Donna Haley, "and also how many of the same books are included in The Great American Read, now being featured on PBS. This is a family show with everything to offer and one performance you will not want to miss."
The performance promises to offer something for everyone including big time magic, comedy, inspiration and scares just in time for the Halloween season.
The show is billed as amazing, startling, funny, controversial, scary and dramatic.
"We have a dynamite cast in a fantastic dramatic and comedic show which we have been working on since the summer," said Haley. "And we are really excited about this. Please join us for theater, music and song. And be ready for fun and a few tender moments too"
