‘Visiting Neighbor' program launched

    WARWICK — The Mount Alverno Center Adult Home and Assisted Living Program in Warwick recently opened its “Visiting Neighbors” senior day care program its facility, designed to offer social day care for adults on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in a community setting while providing services according to the assessed needs of the participant. The program, which includes lunch, will have more appeal for participants who have a higher level of independence and are in reasonably good health but need some supervision. Optional daily activities include but are not limited to dancing, baking, table games, basic computer skills, physical activities and a variety of entertainment and music programs.
