‘Visions of Sugar Loaf' at Bertoni Gallery

    Sugar Loaf — The Bertoni Gallery is exhibiting the show, “Visions of Sugar Loaf,” painted by artists from the Wallkill River School of Art. The Plein Air painters have been painting Sugar Loaf for weeks, and will be presenting their artworks in watercolor, oil, and pastels. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the Artisans of Sugar Loaf, a non-profit local organization supporting the arts. A reception to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, will include discussions by Richard Hull, an historian who has written extensively about Sugar Loaf, and Shawn Dell Joyce, an artist and activist who lives in Montgomery. The gallery is located at 1392 Kings Highway, Sugar Loaf. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Thursday to Sunday. The show is on display through Oct. 29.
