Upcoming holiday programs at Tuxedo Park Library

    Tuxedo Park — The Tuxedo Park Library has scheduled the following programs: • Edible Architecture, Monday, Dec. 3, at 4:30 p.m. Bring a bag of candy to share and you can build candy houses, cottages or whatever you can think up. Be prepared for some good sticky fun! For children in grades 2-5. • Teen cooking class, Thursday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. Learn the art of making good fudge with safe and fun cooking procedures. Guest Chef and radio personality John Moultrie will be here to teach you to make his never fail fudge. You will actually get to make a batch yourself and take home samples to share. • Children’s holiday gift sale, Saturday, Dec. 15, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 16, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The store, called The Gingerbread Shop, will be open and students can purchase items for family and friends at this event. Prices range from $.25 - $15. Most items are in the $1-$3 category. Students can find gifts for mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents, and friends; all at a reasonable price. Gift bags will be provided to keep the gifts a secret. Refreshments will be provided by The Friends of the Tuxedo Park Library. Call the Library at 351-2207x15 for more information.
