Tuesday, Nov. 27, 7 p.m., Gift Cards and Tags. Use paper and punches, stamps and glitter to make delightful cards and tags for holiday presents. Registration is open now; $5 materials fee. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 4:30 p.m. Boredom Busters (K-5th grade). Come hear a story, have a snack an learn something new. Walk-in (no registration required). Wednesday, Nov. 28, 4:30 p.m. Craft (K-1st grade). Free registration required. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 4:30 p.m. Craft (2nd to 5th grade). Free registration required. Thursday, Nov. 29, 7 p.m. Computer Training Class: eBay I. For beginning bidders and buyers alike. $5 deposit (refunded at time of class). Friday, Nov. 30, 7 p.m. Computer Training Class: Introduction to Microsoft Word. Learn the basics of the popular word processing program. Refundable $5 deposit. Saturday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fourth annual Holiday Boutique. The staff, board and volunteers get together to sell books, videos and homemade crafts. Proceeds benefit the library’s collection of large print books. Monday, Dec. 3, 7-9 p.m. Holiday Winter Craft. Enjoy a night of crafting - creating a beautiful ribbon topiary for the home. Registration is open now; $5 materials fee. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 7:30-9 p.m. A scholarly book discussion led by Keith Walters on John Irving’s “A Widow For One Year.” The New York Times wrote: “(John) Irving’s most entertaining and persuasive novel since Garp.” CNN call it “the must-read novel of the late 90s.” Free registration is open now. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 9 a.m., Monroe Free Library is sponsoring a bus trip to the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton for a luncheon and to see their holiday spectacular. Registration is open now; $72 per person.
