Two art shows to open at college gallery

Middletown —Two art shows will be opening on May 23 in Orange Hall Galleries, Orange County Community College — the 2007 Middletown Art Group Spring Exhibition and Views of Greenwood Lake, a three-woman show. The shows will extend through June 23. The 2007 Middletown Art Group Spring Exhibition will be installed in Orange Hall Gallery and works by approximately fifty members will be on display. The show will be diverse in media and shall include artworks in oil, pastel, acrylic, watercolor, graphics, collage, mixed media, drawings, sculpture, and photography. The chair of the show is Donna Lamascolo. A reception on Saturday, June 2 from 1:30 to 4 p.m., is free and open to the public, and will offer visitors the opportunity of mingling with the artists while viewing the artworks and listening to contemporary and classical music played by Judith Hosmer Garrett, pianist.
