Two art exhibits open at Orange Hall

Middletown — Two art exhibits at Orange Hall in Middletown will open with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, and continue until Wednesday, June 14. Orange Hall Gallery Loft will offer “My Escape - Paper, Canvas and Clay” by artist Anne W. Kelly, while Orange Hall Gallery will offer the Middletown Art Group 2006 Spring Exhibition, with approximately seventy artworks in ten eligible media on display. The reception will include a painting demonstration by Rusty Coehlo of Milford, Pa., from 1:15 to 2 p.m.; music by pianist Beverly Poyerd of WashingtoACnville from 2 to 3:45 p.m.; and an awards presentation by judge Catherine St. John, D.A., of Clifton, N.J., from 3:45 to 4 p.m. The exhibit will be available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday to Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and during events in Orange Hall Theater and Gallery. Admission is free. Orange Hall is a universally accessible building at the corner of Wawayanda and Grandview avenues in Orange County Community College in Middletown.
