Tuxedo Historical Society launches membership drive

Tuxedo — The Tuxedo Historical Society (THS) is seeking new members. After a period of reorganization, this historical soceity “is now at the perfect point to seek new members,” according to THS Executive Director Deborah Harmon. “We have accomplished a great deal in the past few years both in terms of managing our collection and in our public offerings.” Trustee Betty Langberg is coordinating the membership drive and added community support is critical to the preservation of Tuxedo’s history for future generations. The historical society receives no government funding and depends upon private donations, its own fund-raising efforts and membership dues.
