The Theater of the Stars will present Boublil and Schönberg’s “Les Miserables” Saturday Aug. 23 at 7: 30 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m. in West Point’s Eisenhower Hall Theatre. Based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel, “Les Miserables” is an epic saga that sweeps through three turbulent decades of 19th century France. It is the story of one man, the fugitive Jean Valjean, who is pitted against the cruel and self-righteous Inspector Javert.
