Truce to perform gospel-hip hop

Warwick — The gospel-hip hop group Truce, from New York City and under the direction of Warwick resident, David Ham, will be giving a free concert at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at the Amity Presbyterian Church at 103 Newport Bridge Road in Warwick. The group, affiliated with Nicky Cruz Outreach, were originally scheduled to perform in February, but the concert was snowed out by a blizzard. They have done world wide street mission work in some of the most difficult urban areas. After a mission trip to London in the summer of 2005, they were asked to return for five weeks this summer, to continue their work.
