Tricky tray to raise money for scholarships
Goshen The Business and Professional Womens Club of Goshen will be holding its 17th annual tricky tray festival on Saturday, March 29, at the C.J. Hooker Middle School on Erie Street in Goshen. Doors open at noon, calling begins at 1:30 p.m. There is no admission fee. Dessert and punch will be complimentary. Hot dogs, chips, coffee and tea will be for sale. Tickets are $2 per sheet. At least 60 baskets or trays, each with a value of $25 or more, will be offered, along with a special wish table and a big 50-50 raffle. Also complimentary are door prizes for adults and children under 12. Proceeds will go toward the club’s annual scholarship to a graduating senior girl from Goshen Central High or John S. Burke High School. Another scholarship is awarded to a girl or woman returning to school to further her education. For more information call the event chair, Barbara Burns, at 651-4441.
