WARWICK — The Warwick Center for the Performing Arts is hosting a Mother’s Day Midsummer Night’s Dream Tea Party on Saturday, May 12.
A fairy-themed tea party with performances by the Warwick Dance Collective and Warwick Center for the Performing Arts students will transform the studio and black box theatre space into a magical setting.
The afternoon tea and production provide a sweet and entertaining setting for moms and guests to indulge in tea and desserts while watching excerpts from the upcoming magical ballet performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream and a meet and greet with the dancers.
Wings, wands, fairy face painting, raffles and prizes round out the day. This enchanting afternoon of tea, desserts and magical activities is the perfect gift to honor mom for Mother’s Day.
There are two seatings: 1:30 and 4 p.m. All seats are $15. Children 1 and under may sit on laps and are free. Proceeds benefit the upcoming performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in Sugarloaf on June 9.
Tickets for the tea are sold in advance at eventbrite.com.
