Middletown —Representatives from more than 80 colleges and universities will convene at SUNY Orange from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 7 and 8, to participate in the college’s annual “Transfer Days.” program. The event allows SUNY Orange students as well as community members to investigate available educational opportunities, beyond pursuit of their associate degrees. The event will be held each day in the George F. Shepard Student Center cafeteria. To ensure students enjoy smooth transition to four-year colleges and universities, and to establish a foundation for continued academic achievement, SUNY Orange maintains transfer agreements with many academic institutions. Such comprehensive agreements range from identifying selected courses that will transfer, to outlining entire SUNY Orange degree programs that will allow graduates to enter four-year colleges or universities, with full junior status. For more information on “Transfer Days,” contact the Advising and Counseling Office at 341-4070.
