Ninth annual Greenwood Lake regatta set for Saturday Greenwood Lake - The ninth Annual Greenwood Lake Challenge Regatta will be held on the East Arm of Greenwood Lake on Saturday, May 20, starting at 9:30 a.m. Come watch rowers race their sleek shells in a variety of races, fighting for the annual Sullivan Cup Trophy. Enjoy the races from the Emerald, the Rainbow or Anton’s. There also will be a raffle this year for a new HP computer, Pinnacle home theater speakers, a six-pack of free oil changes at Country Chevy, a scenic seaplane ride over Greenwood Lake and a free night at Anton’s on the Lake. There will also be a tricky tray tent with a variety of prizes. Proceeds will support East Arm Rowing Club’s community rowing and Warwick and Tuxedo high school rowing programs. Parking along East Shore Drive will be limited, so you are encouraged to walk or bike. For more information call the rowing club at 845-477-3076.
