Tickets on sale for ‘Comedy for a Cause'

    GOSHEN — Tickets are now available for the May 17 performance of “Comedy for a Cause,” at the Goshen High School auditorium, featuring New York City comics Brett Leake and Chas Elstner. “Brett is a brilliant comic who has appeared many times on the Tonight Show starring Jay Leno,” said Bill Keller, organizer for Comedy for a Cause. “Chas Elstner has done all of the cable shows and once worked as a clown for Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus.” Keller, a noted stand-up comic himself, will emcee this entertaining show. The doors open at 7 p.m. with pre-show entertainment and a silent auction. The show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 each and proceeds will benefit the Goshen Rotary’s High School Scholarship fund and the Goshen Ecumenical Food Pantry. They can be purchased in Goshen during regular business hours at Joe Fix Its, Main St.; First Presbyterian Church, Park Place; St. James Episcopal Church, Church St.; Liz’ Place, Green St.; and G&T Auto Parts, Main St., and in Middletown at Nina’s Restaurant, West Main Street.
