Tickets go on sale Monday for Annie, Get Your Gun'
Warwick - Tickets go on sale Monday, Feb. 26, for the Warwick Valley High School Drama Club’s production of “Annie, Get Your Gun” on Friday and Saturday, March 16 and 17. The Drama Club will be presenting Peter Stone’s 1996 contemporary version of the classic musical originally made famous by Ethel Merman. “Annie, Get Your Gun” follows the story of Buffalo Bill’s “Wild West Show” and the often relationship between sharpshooters Annie Oakley and Frank Butler as they travel with the show. This fast-paced new version still contains the tunes audiences have come to love, including “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” “You Can’t Get a Man with a Gun,” “The Girl That I Marry” and “Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better.” The musical will be performed on Friday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, March 17, at 1 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be reserved by calling the Drama Club’s ticket reservation line at 987-3050, voice mail box #4100. Tickets are $9 for general admission and $7 for children ten and under and for senior citizens. Changes to the reservation policy have been implemented, so residents are asked to listen to the recorded message carefully when placing their order.
