WARWICK — Time Transformed, the Warwick Summer Art’s repurposed clock fund-raising project, will be held Friday night, April 27, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Warwick Center for the Performing Arts, located at 63 Wheeler Ave. in the Village of Warwick.
Artists skilled in a multitude of mediums accepted the challenge of transforming an object of their choice into a unique, functioning clock representing the transformation theme of this year’s arts festival, under the direction of Warwick-based artists Heidi Lanino Bilezikian and Janet Howard-Fatta..
On Friday, April 27, guests at the fund raiser will be treated to an evening of hors d’oeuvres, musical and performance entertainment. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $25 per person.
The Time Transformed Art Clocks will be on display throughout the event and up for bid in silent auction fashion, raising revenue for the entertainment and infrastructure of the 2018 Warwick Summer Arts Festival.
The Warwick Summer Arts Festival is a nonprofit organization that promotes arts, artists, art education and art appreciation in order to create a vibrant art community. It brings great music to the region as well as commissions and original work.
