Theater company and cancer society present Klugman

    SUGAR LOAF-Cancer survivor and three-time Emmy Award winning actor Jack Klugman will discuss his struggle with cancer of the larynx and his battle to regain his voice during a theatre performance at the Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts in Sugar Loaf at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 19.The local American Cancer Society team will have an information/donation booth at the Lycian Centre prior to the performance. Donations will help support local cancer patients, and a portion will go to help support further research. The show, "An Afternoon with Jack Klugman," is an intimate dialogue between the audience and Klugman as he shares stories from his half a century in show business. In addition to his experiences with throat cancer, Klugman speaks about working with such legendary figures as Humphrey Bogart, Henry Fonda, Ethel Merman, Judy Garland, and Tony Randall.
