For this one night event, SLPAC has brought in this internationally renowned group and combined it with local talent to sing in the holidays.
Formed in 1987, the New York Voices infuses its smooth jazz roots with pop, R&B and Brazilian influences to create a unique vocal performance. Darmon Meader, Peter Eldridge, Kim Nazarian and Lauren Kinhan make up the four-part vocal group and sing with captivating harmonies.

On Dec. 9, the New York Voices will be collaborating with the Jubilate Choir, a local choral group made up of the some of the best student vocalists in the area.
“This is a great opportunity to enjoy the holiday season with this Grammy winning vocal ensemble,” Kevin Kern, SLPAC board member and co-promoter of the event, said in the press release detailing the performance. “Bringing the local choir members into the day-long master classes and ultimately performing with the Voices that completes our mission.”
