The Producers' comes to West Point April 5

“The Producers,” the Mel Brooks musical, will make its West Point premiere at Eisenhower Hall Theatre for one show only, on Saturday, April 5 at 8 p.m. The musical is the story of down-on-his-luck theatrical producer Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom, a mousy accountant. Together they hatch the ultimate scam: raise more money than needed for a sure-fire Broadway flop and pocket the difference. Their “sure-fire” theatrical fiasco? None other than the musical “Springtime for Hitler.” The musical swept the 2001 Tony Awards, receiving the most awards in Broadway history, including: best musical, best book of a musical, best original score and more. Tickets are $38 and $40 and are on sale now at the Eisenhower Hall Theatre box office, online at www.ikehall.com or by calling 800-233-3123. (Photo provided)
