The ‘people' you'll meet in April at the library in Highland Mills

An art exhibition of 12 pieces has been created for the Highland Mills branch of the Woodbury Public Library for display during April. All pieces, life-sized cardboard cutouts of people that artist Robin Burkhardt knows, are intended to “people” the library. Materials are recycled cardboard and latex paints from cellars and garages of friends. Commissions (which would be for contributions to the library or the Central Valley United Methodist Church) can be arranged through the artist, a former Monroe-Woodbury School District art teacher, by calling her at 827-6308.
