‘The Little Foxes’ opens this weekend at The Playhouse at Museum Village

MONROE — The Playhouse at Museum Village in Monroe begins its 23rd season with Lillian Hellman’s play, “The Little Foxes,” directed by Les Ferguson, beginning tonight, May 4, at 8 p.m.
Set in the genteel South at the turn of the century, play is a look into the lives of the Hubbard family – devious and greedy Ben, haughty and cruel Oscar, and the wickedly glamorous Regina.
The characters each plot to outwit and outmaneuver one another in their efforts to increase their wealth by millions of dollars, no matter what the cost to their lives and the lives of others.
Performances are also scheduled for May 5, 11, 12, 17 18 and 19 at 8 p.m., and on Sundays, May 6 and 20, at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $24 each, which includes dessert at intermission consisting of apple pie, ice cream, cheese, iced tea and coffee.
The playhouse’s season continues with the July production of Terrance McNally’s comedy, “It’s Only a Play.”
In September, The playhouse presents the award winning musical, “The Addams Family” and its season concludes in November with Ira Levin’s “Veronica’s Room.”
Subscriptions that offer savings and other benefits are available for all three productions and can be obtained by calling the Box Office.
