‘The Life of Buddha' to be screened

Warwick — Integral Nutrition, in Warwick, will screen “The Life of Buddha” on Sunday, July 8, as part of its Spiritual Cinema series. The shows will be at 2 and 5 p.m. This documentary, by Martin Meisonnier, recreates the life, time and teachings of Gautama Buddha, tracing the footsteps of the prince who gave up his kingdom from Lumbini to Bodh Gaya, from renunciation to Nirvana. The birth of one of the greatest religions in the world began with the birth of Prince Siddhartha in Lumbini, in Nepal, spread to Bodh Gaya in Bihar, across the borders, then to Sri Lanka across the seas and finally, the rest of the world. The film shows all the main places of Buddhist pilgrimage following in the Buddha’s footsteps and featuring Buddhists from all different traditions and countries. Integral Nutrition, has chosen this particular film as its last film, before they close their doors on July 23. Masala Chai will be served. Integral Nutrition is located at 314 South Route 94.
