The Cornell Cooperative Extension and Junior League sponsor Family Spa Day

Middletown - Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Relative as Parents Program, in collaboration with the Junior League of Orange County, will hold their Third Annual Family Spa Day on Saturday, Sept. 9. It will take place at Cornell Cooperative Extension at 1 Ashley Ave. in Middletown. Registration will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. The Family Day Spa event is designed to assist grandparents and other relatives who have taken on the role of primary caregiver for related children. This event provides an opportunity for relative caregiver families to be pampered and enjoy a facial, massage, yoga, Master Gardener Volunteer presentation, weaving demonstration, and make a gift for grandparents or relative caregivers. Healthy cooking demonstration and a light lunch will be provided. Children six and older are welcome to join in the festivities. No childcare is available for children five and younger.
