Warwick - The Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery will host The Big Mouth Brass, ensemble comprised of local professional musicians residing in the Orange County area, on Saturday June 10, at 7 p.m. Trumpet players John Thomas and Jerry Serfass, along with Janet Lantz on French horn, Amy Salo on trombone, and Tony Price on tuba, will offer a night of music on the winery’s scenic outdoor stage. During the past ten years the winery has been host to many local and nationally known artists in the folk and blues community. The Big Mouth Brass brings a distinctively unique sound, different from anything the winery has offered before. On June 10, this brass ensemble will play renditions of the classics as well as selections from our ragtime and jazz books, Broadway show tunes, a tango and a polka. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 or at the door for $12 (Children are $5). The Winery Bakery café will be open serving a bistro style menu all evening. Reservations are recommended. The performance happens rain or shine.
