Monroe - What’s the best-selling cookie in America? Who wrote the book “An American Tragedy?” Who was America’s first billionaire? The Monroe Free Library is continuing the year-long celebration of its centenary with two weeks of trivia contests. On Monday, April 21 and 28, at 11 a.m., the library is hosting “Tea and Trivia,” a free live trivia contest with topics drawn from the last hundred years. Trivia prizes will be awarded; tea will be served. The contest isn’t limited to library patrons: everyone is welcome, but the library asks that you register by calling 845-783-4411. The library is at 44 Millpond Parkway, south of Lake Street, in Monroe. The answers, by the way to the questions: Oreos, Theodore Dreiser and Henry Ford.
