Tango under the Tent dance and fund raiser set for Saturday

Warwick — Tango under the Tent’s third annual Mega Milonga (An Argentine Tango Dance Event) will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 8 p.m. at Stone Bridge Station, 30 Wisner Road, in Warwick. Proceeds from this event will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and The Emory Center for Health in Aging. The Mega Milonga III represents the third benefit of its kind. In the past, Tango under the Tent has made donations to Cell Phones for Soldiers, The Red Cross, Doctors without Borders and to the Orange County Citizens Foundation. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 per person. The evening will include refreshments, a silent auction, plenty of dancing (Tango, please) and entertainment which features the music of The Tito Castro Trio, dance performances by Sara Grdan and Ivan Terrazas, and DJ Tine Herreman. Tango under the Tent, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization which uses a multidisciplinary approach to promote Argentine Tango as a cultural, healthful educational and social experience.
