Take a virtual tour of Arlington National Cemetery

FLORIDA — Follow the history of Arlington from its humble origins during the Civil War as a burial place of necessity, to its current celebrity as the most prestigious cemetery in the United States. Arlington National Cemetery's green slopes shelter over 275,000 United States veterans from every war.
Award-winning educator and historian Carolyn Ivanoff will lead the talk and tour, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Florida Senior Center, 3 Cohen Circle, Florida.
Ivanoff's previous lectures, "Civil War Medicine" and "Ghosts of Gettysburg," earned wide acclaim from appreciative audiences.
Admission is $10 for adults, $15 for couples, with veterans and students admitted free of charge.
Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited.
Proceeds will benefit the restoration of the Seward/Mapes Homestead.
