Take a tour of Goshen's beautiful gardens
Goshen St. James Episcopal Church will host its third annual tour, “The Gardens of Goshen,” on Saturday, June 17. This self-guided tour of some of Goshen’s loveliest gardens will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Included in the $30 ticket price is a luncheon on the church lawn sponsored by the Women of St. James, which will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A program guide is included in the price. All proceeds will benefit the church’s Building Restoration Fund. The garden tour is the church’s most important fundraising event. Sponsors say ticket sales have grown each year. “I am always amazed that our biggest fundraiser comes from an event where the majority of the donations are from garden-lovers who live outside Goshen,” said tour chairman Ray Bally.
