Breakfast sandwiches start at 7:30 a.m. at the Goshen United Methodist Church, 115 Main St., with free coffee. Hot dogs, strawberries and home made pies start at 10:30 am. on Saturday, July 3. Blood drive Stop by the blood mobile, next to the Presbyterian Church on Park Place, to help New York hospitals meet demand. The blood drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 2. Everyone between age 16 (with parent’s permission) and 75 is welcome. Bring picture ID, and drink plenty of fluids. Donations tend to drop significantly during the summer vacation months as people go on vacation. Also, donations from high schools and colleges, which account for 25 percent of regional blood collection, decrease when schools close for the summer. Book sale A book sale will be held at St. James’ Episcopal Church, 1 St. James Place, Goshen, across the street from the rides, on the church lawn on Friday, July 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be hard and softcover books of all kinds, and a selection of special priced books. Regular books are $1 for hardcovers, 50 cents for softcovers and 25 cents for children’s books.
