'Straight Up New York' festival at Warwick Valley Winery

WARWICK — The Black Dirt Distillery will host its second annual Straight Up New York craft spirits festival on Saturday, July 9, from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Warwick Valley Winery.
Tickets to participate are $40 and can be purchased at www.blackdirtdistillery.com. Admission for designated drivers is $15.
"Straight Up New York offers a unique opportunity to explore the New York craft spirits industry, while getting face time with innovators paving the way for the farm-to-glass movement," said Jason Grizzanti, co-owner of Black Dirt Distillery. "Black Dirt Distillery was born at the Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery. The company has experienced over 15 years of success with countless awards. This craft spirits festival offers attendees to interact with local distillers and learn first-hand their journey to success."
Straight Up New York features nearly two dozen of the state's leading craft spirits producers, who are coming together to celebrate the New York craft spirits industry. Gourmet food and spirits will be available for tastings and purchase, as well as tours of Black Dirt Distillery. Attendees can enjoy live music while getting the opportunity to meet the pioneers shaping the beverage landscape with their unique brands. In addition to the expansive list of local distilleries, farmers, authors, musicians and chefs will fill this tented event, atop the scenic orchards of Warwick Valley Winery.
Tractor rides with picturesque views will be offered exclusively to those joining Straight Up New York; participants will receive a souvenir "Straight Up New York Rocks" glass.
