'Still Surfin' at the Lycian Centre

Sugar Loaf — Still Surfin,’ the Beach Boys tribute band, will appear at The Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts on Thursday, July 28 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Still Surfin’ tours nationally and played the Lycian concert series in the summer 2009. With authentic costuming and great choreography, organizers said it’s a Beach Boys experience as close to the original as there possibly can be. Based in Washington, D.C., Still Surfin’ is a professional Beach Boys tribute band. Each member has a unique and extensive musical background. The band’s common love for the harmonies and arrangements of the Beach Boys brought them together to perform this music. That night, major sponsor Cheeseburger in Paradise will be on site selling their famous cheeseburgers and (non-alcoholic) signature drink, “Island Paradise.” For more information call 469-7412.
